With hindsight, my
father the late Mr Ang Oon
Hue made a very wise decision to convert Ju Eng
Primary School to Ju Eng Home for Senior
Citizens providing welfare services for the elderly and needy. It was
also his intention to put into practice the Christian teachings of
showing kindness to mankind especially the poor, destitute and the aged.
Presently, Ju Eng Home accommodates a total of 314 beds.
Together with a total staff of 150, we are able to house a total of 500
people in the Home. With such a heavy commitment, we therefore need to
continually raise funds through various means to cover our operating
expenses.

Despite the present
economic downturn, the Home is blessed with donations in cash and in kind
from corporate and individual donors. For this, we are very grateful to
them and we hope for their continued support to enable us to carry on with
our mission to provide for those in need so that our residents can have a
more meaningful life during their stay with us.
I would also like to
express my appreciation to my fellow Board members, all volunteers,
individuals, corporate, insitutions and others
for their continuous support in terms of their precious time, efforts as
well as donations in kind or cash and last but not least my staff who have
served our residents with dedication and compassion.
May God Bless All of You.
Thank You.
